Thesaurus Exercise: The Great Escape

Congratulations to the winner, Miss Suwannee Mangsachart (Ray), 4th year English Major! The assignment was to rewrite a paragraph that I wrote rather poorly. So the students were asked to doctor it up and make it better than it was. Honorable mention goes to Sophia and Linda (both 4th year).

As the show started, the music began to play and the elephants walked out into the arena. They did all the malicious tactics that the tourists would expect. They did the hula hoop, stood on buckets, threw darts, painted pictures and play a little football. Then came the part they all were halt for. The part where the elephants walk over the people. As it usually matter, three Farangs wanted to do this part, so they came to outdoor and slumber down in the dust. The biggest elephant knew this was hit time to undertaking. He carefully stepped over the 1st and 2nd man, but when he came to the 3rd Farang, he discontinuation. The elephants lead foot began to try to make the elephant stir, but he just stood there. The Farang was still high-pitched sound up on the roof, and it took about an hour for anybody to figure out how to get him down. The elephants sat in the river and funny about how they get away from the show.
